Here are some worthwhile experiences to read before you buy Doghouse Plans for your "Best Friend"!

You probably know the cliché that "nothing comes easy". Come to think of it, that saying is true whether you're building a home for your own, or one for your mutt. Regardless of who's living in it (your family or your dog), it's critical to come up with a good set of house plans.

Building a doghouse sounded like a fairly easy job to do… and it was.  However, the job would not have gone as smooth if I had not gotten my hands on a good set of doghouse plans and I suggest you do the same before you spend a bunch of money on material and think you can just design the thing as you go. Remember that aside from the actual house, you also have to take into consideration its surroundings such as the garden and landscaping.

I figured it would not be that difficult to draw up my own design for a dog house and to put the thing together over the course of a weekend.  Now, while this is certainly possible you will actually save money getting a good set of plans because they generally come with all the materials and hardware you need so you can budget accordingly.

I’m a big fan of proving my wife wrong and decided early on that I was not going to go with this project alone.  I’m not a "design genius" by any stretch of the imagination and planning is not my strength either. Today people would dub me as a woodworking enthusiast, but if they knew me any better, especially a couple years back, I have an unforgiving habit to not finish things when the going gets rough. And I just couldn't bring the tough part of me into the surface! In this case, I wanted to make sure I had enough money and also limited the trips to the hardware store and grab everything I needed on the first visit.

Having a good set of doghouse plans allowed me to go through all the steps I would need to take before actually "diving into them" and prevent any unnecessary problems that could arise.  Truth be told, I would have used the wrong type of lumber if I had gone it on my own and could have actually made my dog very sick … and then I would have been in the doghouse! Courtesy of my wife.

Tried and proven plans save time and more importantly, they save money as well as headaches. And I certainly don't need anymore stress to deal with for the time being! Because it is way much easier to make changes on a set of plans than to draw them up from scratch.

Time is money and I was able to complete my weekend project on schedule and right on the budget, and that was well worth the nominal cost for a good set of doghouse plans. There are a lot of good ones online, but one is a-cut above the rest. And your skill level does not matter! Check out http://woodworkingfromhome.info right now and never postpone another project again!
