If my condo association does not specifically forbid me to feed birds, can they tell me not to feed them?
The rules do say something about not doing anything that would be a nuisance. I use a finch feeder with niger seeds and there is very little waste. The hulls fall on our balcomy and we keep it clean.
Yes, they cannot pin point everything so they just mention "annoyance", it is not the waste. Feeding the birds brings more birds and some people are afraid of birds, some feel they birds are annoying and noisy. I too feed birds (and squirrels), but do stop when weather breaks
