Why does my Amazon parrot have a brown patch of feathers on his chest?
He is otherwise in excellent health, and is fed a varied diet of Nutriberries, fruits and vegetables, almonds, etc. Could it be a result of over-preening?
Over preening won't magically change the color of feathers. What species of amazon is he? It could just be a normal marking for his species.
